Ensuring food safety has always been a natural and priority for us. We therefore have put the following mechanism in place based on a belief that food safety is in order in every step of a procurement/shipment process.
We make sure the manufacturer partners we’ve been cooperating with in our Suppliers Rating System are qualified and certified with HACCP, HALAL, GMP, OU KOSHER, BRC, etc, as requested by our customers according to various products standards and market preferences. This on-site audit is conducted by our QA manager or third parties, i.e. SGS, PONY, INTERTEK, etc. Based on these audit results, Procurement is able to update the Approved Supplier List with manufacturers’ ratings and scores on a regular basis. Customer satisfaction investigation is taken so as to evaluate a manufacturer’s cooperation development sustainability. In the meantime, we provide corrective action suggestions and follow up with manufacturers in a good will to broaden supply channels and increase possibilities/alternatives for our clients.

Similar to the Manufacturer Qualification Audit mechanism, the quality inspection is taken by ourselves or third parties. We conduct quality checks throughout contract fulfillment stages from pre-procurement, packing to loading, as well as processing in harvest season, if any, as per order/contract circumstances. During the sorting and packaging process, deviations can be identified and corrective measures will be reinforced so as to ensure uniformity of products and quality. Final random inspections begin only after all merchandise is packed for shipment. We’ll sample products to verify product safety, quantity, workmanship, function, color, size, packing, etc. This ensures that our product is consistent and compliant with what’s requested or otherwise specified in the contracts, and that no critical major or minor defects occur. Throughout the loading supervision, our representative will closely monitor the loading process, verify quantities, and ensure proper handling of the cargo. Upon completion, the containers will be sealed under supervision, which will significantly reduce the importing risks. Quality inspection reports code is thus generated and documentaries are maintained for later tracking and customer feedback review. Shipment advices, loading pictures and reports, and quality inspection checklist/report (if requested) will also be provided to customers after shipment is made. We believe this whole quality inspection service will help protect not only our brands and company reputation but also our customers’ by minimizing defective merchandise, complaints, non-compliant products and late shipments.
At Aquofroz, we trace each shipment of products by quality inspection report code, or manufacturer code plus lots number, whose history is available for product, contract number or B/L search. This traceability data is kept in our central storage and reporting database, available 24/7.
In this way, we’re able to trace forward, backward and bi-directionally staring from any QI report record. We can also trace a specific unit using a combination of any of the following: contract number, manufacturing lots number, packing list, shipping information, sample marking. Our tools enable us to quickly identify those impacted parts in case of an issue.
